Ednovate launched its first school, USC Hybrid High, a personalized learning high school, in 2012. Since then, Ednovate has grown to six schools and is on a trajectory to continue to grow over the next several years. Ednovate is committed to serving in areas where students traditionally lack access to a quality college prep education by building tuition-free, safe, and high-performing public schools to serve neighborhoods that need it the most. Role Summary

This is a paid, part-time internship. The intern will be expected to work approximately 1-8 hours per week for a total of 11 months (depending on availability & needs) between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm. During your internship, you’ll be directly supporting the Ednovate Academics team in supporting schools with translation needs.

The VISP Intern will support the Independent Study Program with tasks including but not limited to:

• Communicating important information with students and parents
• Tracking data and ensuring compliance with Ednovate policies
• Translating parent teacher conferences
• Ensure translated content conveys original meaning and tone
• Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy
• Follow up with team members to resolve outstanding issues and meet needs

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• A history of high achievement and results
• Impressive work ethic (“good isn’t good enough”)
• Clear passion for Ednovate’s Mission
• High attention to detail
• Serviced-focused mentality
